This table set took just under two
years to complete. The Artist, painstakenly
worked out the design and perfected the method to create the finely
crafted wood table that incorporates a hidden light that shines
downward on the area under the table. There were nearly a dozen
prototype attempts at different designs until the perfect one
emerged. The stone types were selected because of their beauty
and unique history. The artist collected, cut and poliched the
stone using machinery he designed himself. The stone and brass
was inlayed to create a seamless top with a subtle design theme
to make these two occasional end tables a one of a kind set.
NOTE: the stone is polished to a mirror finnish and is not coated.
When you rub the stone it is the real thing. |
